USA Wallpaper stalling on refund - now out of business?

My wife order wall paper border for our nursery on 1-19-09.Before it arrived we found it for significantly cheaper at a local store.

It was too late to cancel the USA Wallpaper order so we called them and they said to return it and that they were sending the order over to the accounting department to be issues a full refund. They said we would recieve an email within 14 days to such effect. After a full month we never received the email so I called again. We were told the same thing - being sent to account for ful refund and wait 14 days.

This went on for 3 months before I started keepiong detailed notes about who I talked to and when I called.

Sicne then I have called multiple times and I'm always told that they are very sorry sorry for the mixup and that I would recieve a full refund after accounting sends me an email with the details.Now all the numbers I have for them, including the ones posted on their website are disconnected....yet their site is still up.

There is clearly something fishy going on here.

I ordered two different types of wallpaper patterns 4 months ago, they accepeted the order and charged it that same day or the next day. 3 weeks latter they tell me both patterns are on a backorder so i should wait 2 - 3 weeks more to receive it. This time passed and I tried calling the company 6 times several different days, in which NOBODY EVER ANSWERED THE PHONE.

I sent several emails, asking them about my order and they KEPT SAYING IT WAS IN A BACKORDER, I contacted their manufacturer who told that the day for production of this patterns was until October. I made my order between the last of june and first weeks of july, how come they didnt tell me the truth about how long the backorder was going to be.

Still I asked them for a refund and they said it was going to take 1 month to refund me. that didnt happen.

After that USAWALLPAPER, SENT ME AN EMAIL SAYING THE COMPANY HAS FINANCIAL PROBLEMS AND THEYRE HAVING PROBLEMS TO REFUND MY MONEY and that I should understand this difficult times.

Let me understand USA WALLPAPER, your having difficult times, everybody has being having them and not because of this they are robbing customers money.

Finally, I talked to the manufacturer and since so much time has passed after my order, they have one of the patterns produced, and I asked USAWALLPAPER.com to send me that pattern and refund me the other part of the order. Of course they didnt tell me the pattern had been produced I had to find out by myself.

They told they where going to send me the pattern that is in stock and wait for the other one. Since that last email, MY HUSBAND HAS CALLED 7 MORE TIMES WITH NO ANSWER, and sent 4 emails, which have not being answered and nothing has arrived.

I CANT BELIEVE YOU ARE USING YOUR CUSTOMERS TO FINANCE YOURSELVES (SINCE YOU HAVE FINANCIAL PROBLEMS) AND KEEPING THEIR MONEY WITHOUT EVER SENDING THEM THE PRODUCTS THEIR PAYING FOR!

2009. EVERY TIME I CALL I DO GET A VERY CHEERFUL AND SYMPATHIC PERSON TO SWAER THAT THEY WILL BE THE ONE TO FINALLY TAKE CARE OF IT...ITS $76.00 THAT I DONT REALLY WANT TO GIVE TO THIS COMPANY.

I DO WORK AT A LAW OFFICE SO I THINK ILL TRY THE COLLECTION ROUTE SOON SINCE I KIND OF HAVE MY DOUBTS THAT THIS IS WORTH MUCH EITHER.USA WALLPAPER IS A VERY RISKY COMPANY TO DEAL WITH!!!!!!

I know how you feel, I have yet to get a refund it is going on three months, unfortunatly I spent 238.00 and have yet to get my money, I have filed complaints with the Ohio BBB and Ohio's attorney generals office. I hope you have gotten your money by now. :(

Unfortunately, I have received the same run around that others have received from USA Wallpaper.I placed an order in May and found out later that my items were on backorder.

When I canceled my order I was told that it would take 1 to 2 billing cycles to receive a refund.

Four months and countless emails and phone calls later, and I am still awaiting a refund. I used my Paypal account which was a huge mistake!

If I would have used a credit card, I could have contacted my company and disputed the charges.Beware of this company!!!

USA Wallpaper is B.S., DON'T ORDER

On 8/29/07, I placed an order online for Wallpaper Border which on their website says is in stock.They charged me the same day.

A week later, I'm told the items are backordered and will arrive in 2-3 weeks. I call again at the end of September and told again that the vendor has not shipped and it would be in 2 weeks. I call them again in October and they say the same. I was not in a huge rush to receive the items so I wait until after Thanksgiving.

On 12/6/07, I told them to refund my money since they obviously are not fulfilling my order. Their unprofessional supervisor and CSRs tell me they would refund my money and I should see it in a week. I called and emailed them almost every 2 weeks to get my refund through. All they would say is that they are trying to expedite my refund with their Billing Dept and they I can't speak to anyone over there.

Finally on 2/25/08 did I receive my refund after demanding it. Don't order from them, they are hoping that people just forget about the money they paid. One email is all I got from them regarding status. I almost did.

I have all email correspondence.

File a complaint with BBB.

I have waited for a refund for four months now and have filed a complaint with the BBB. They don't seem to be concerned about the complaint as they have refused to respond. There is no doubt that this company is scamming people.

I am experiencing exactly the same thing.I ordered wallpaper $161.00, it was back ordered for 2 months so I canceled and it has been 6 weeks with no refund.

The company tells me the same 1 or 2 billing cycles. They also tell me that there is no recourse or anyone else that I can speak to in regards to this. No one in accounting speaks to the public.

Never order anything from USA Wallpaper!

Never, never never order anything from this corrupt corporation that doesn't ever return your money to you.

How do they get away with this?

I have the exact same experience - I ordered the wallpaper and kept getting run around - I went on their web site and found that the paper I had ordered was not even on their site anymore so I called and was told they no longer dealt with the distributor - I was not even made aware of this - I told them I wanted my $$$$ back and have gotten nothing in 6 months - Awful company - I only lost $55.00 but with a husband out of work I sure could use that $$$$ - I cannot understand how they can stay in business - You cannot even talk to them because the phone has been busy for months -

I am beside myself reading all the complaints against this company, the same kind of complaints that I am experiencing, I cancelled my order right after I found all that my wallpaper and boarders were on back order, almost three months later, no refund.I also filled a complaint with the BBB, and to no surprise, no response to the complaint.

I then filed a complaint to the Ohio Attorney Generals office yesturday.

This guys need to be shut down.WTF!!!

These ppl must make a killing!I mean everything I read about them is stealing money.

They got $60.00 of mine. Its been 8 months and I have gotten no refund. And everytime I call its either Debbie, Amy, Beckie. And the website no longer has the Chat thingy.

And I did file with the BBB but they are refusing to reply. So what now??

This company is scamming consumers as it sounds like everyone's story is the same.I even received an email from the company that was intended for another consumer.

They are evidently very good at this.

I have filed a complaint with the BBB but they are refusing to respond.I wish I would have found this site sooner.

I sure wish I had seen these reviews before I make the mistake of shopping with USA Wallpaper. I just looked up their record with the bbb.org. They are a horrible company and I do not understand why they have not been shut down.

My experience is the same as everyone's. I ordered 3 spools of border and was under the impression I would have them the following week. After not receiving a tracking number I emailed USA Wallpaper to find out when my order would ship. They informed me that it was on backorder and would be 2 weeks. Two weeks went by and I never heard anything, so I emailed again. They (Angela) said again it would be 2 weeks. I asked if this was an additional two weeks and was told it was. After those 2 weeks I called and was told it would be yet another 2 weeks. I got off the phone and found it at Lowes for 10 bucks cheaper. I emailed Angela and requested to cancel my order because it had been over a month. After a week and a handful of emails with no response I called to cancel. Deb said I would get a cancel conformation sent to my email. A couple days later it was there. I sent an email asking when I should be expecting my refund and was told 1-2 billing cycles. I was soooooooo shocked!!! 1-2 months?!?!?! I told them that was ridicules and my whole experience was bad and I would not be shopping with them again. After that I received an email from Deb saying that she was going to contact...

Last night I found these reviews and to my horror realized what I was dealing with here. I called them today and spoke with Deb who is over the cancels and refunds and got absolutely nowhere with her. She acted very ignorant. Accounting won't accept phone calls or emails from customers is what I was told. I asked for her supervisor and was directed to Debbie who was not any better. She said the same thing. I was given the run around so I got off the phone.

Point is, if you are thinking about buying from this company, DON'T!!! They are liars, thieves, and crooks. They are not a legitimate company!!!!

I am going through the same thing right now.My husband made a comment last night..."tell them if they don't give you back your money you are going to run there name in the ground and make up websites of negative experiences"......I googled "USA WALLPAPER FEFUND POLICY" and to my horror realized I was not alone!!!

I feel so ***. I have been checking my creditcard statement as if it would be there. I might as well write that $65 off. But not before I report there sorry butts.

Everyone gets what they desirve and if this company is scamming inocent people they will get cought.Think about it....you see it all the time in the news and papers; fraud, scams....this is stealing..eventually these people will be stopped and punished!

I placed an order with USA Wallpaper and a month later called to check status of my order and they told me it was back ordered and would be at least 2 more weeks before it even arrived at their wharehouse. So I canceled.

After 3 weeks and no refund I called and spoke to Leslie who told me 30 days after accounting receiving my paperwork I would have my refund, I called back 30 days later and was told to be patient sometimes it takes a while longer, even though clearly stated on their refund section is within one billing cycle you'll get your refund.

I have called, and E mailed countless times and spoken to Leslie, Libby, Deb and Beckie only to get the run around and lies and not have my E mails returned.

My purchase was a gift for my daughter and here I am months later no gift and no refund.

USA Wallpaper and their employees are liars and thieves. They have 0 customer service, they couldn't care less that they are stealing money from people to pay their salary.

DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID, THEY WILL ONLY STEAL FROM YOU AND THEN LIE, LIE AND LIE AGAIN.
